The first thing you will notice when you arrive at Parton House is its beautiful setting. Located close to the centre of the village of Churchdown, halfway between Gloucester and Cheltenham, it is set back off the road down a long driveway. Set in extensive grounds the home is surrounded by community allotments and playing fields, giving it a quiet, rural feel.
The beautifully maintained gardens offer a number of areas where you can sit and relax or meet with relatives and friends on warm and sunny days. If the weather is not so inviting then the interior of the home offers excellent facilities for you, your friends and relatives to enjoy.

Your Home From Home
Parton House offers something for everyone, no matter what your personality. The hub of daily life at the home is the spacious main lounge where everyone gathers to relax, read and perhaps talk over tea or coffee. There is a separate TV lounge, and a quieter reception lounge, which is perfect for family gatherings or for when you or visitors require extra privacy. For those of you who enjoy the movies there is a cinema room where we often screen the latest films as well as the classics of days gone by.
There is a real family feel to the home giving a strong sense of community. Many of our visitors comment on the warm and friendly atmosphere that exists no matter what time of day they come to see us; it is part of what will make you feel you are truly ‘at home’ if you come to join us at Parton House.
Dining
Our team of dedicated chefs is passionate about making your meal times something to look forward to every day. They are always willing to discuss new menu ideas with you – you might have an old favourite that you haven’t had for some time – just ask and they will see what they can do.
Providing you with a healthy diet is important but our chefs always remember that everyone loves regular treats. If you wish you can invite family and friends to join you, whether it’s for lunch, tea in the garden, or for a birthday celebration – everyone is welcome!

Together with you, we take the time to plan a variety of enjoyable activities so that there is always something different happening every day. You may be someone who loves to sit down with a puzzle, enjoy a sing-along, take some gentle exercise, or perhaps stroll down memory lane with a friend.
We are lucky enough to be located in a lovely part of the country so we organise plenty of outings for you to take part in. Recent trips have included a boat cruise on the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal and an outing to a fantastic Victorian Tea Room in the Forest of Dean. Suggestions are always welcome for new and interesting places to visit.
