A Sporty Spectacular!
Here at Parton House, we recently held a sports day at the home! There were many fun games for all of our residents to take part in and as the weather was that good, we were able to do it all outdoors.
There was a variety of games for everyone to take part in, testing their throwing and catching skills as well as their aim and accuracy with things like the miniature basketball hoop or beanbags and hoops.
These exercises were a wonderful and engaging way to test our residents motor functions as well as their cognitive functions which can aide in fall prevention and benefit them in many other ways.
A thoroughly enjoyable day!
