We had a full day of commemoration for the 80th anniversary of D-Day this week, the home was decorated with flags and posters and the dining room completely transformed to mark the occasion.
In addition to all the aesthetics, we had a lovely singer visit the home singing songs from the period, residents, family and staff all joined in. This was followed by a very special party, a big thank you to all the staff who helped to make the day special.
